What do you do when you feel like you have nothing left? When you feel like there is no place left for you in the world? Lori wasn't born with the answers, but as the universe commonly does, a path was laid out before her forcing her to acknowledge her purpose, thus defining her life's mission.
As a young adult, Lori battled suicidal ideation. A trip to the Grand Canyon resulting in a near death experience helped Lori realize - She Wanted to Live! What is it about a life threatening experience that makes you want to live? Surviving the rapids began Lori's journey, but it still didn't provide the answer as to how she could share this life altering experience with others to help them through their own darkness.
Lori went on to become a Wrangler on a Dude Ranch - It was a lifelong dream to work with her horse and to lead pack trips and cattle drives. The universe was still working to get Lori on her purpose path, and decided another eye opening - life threatening- experience was in order. Lori was at the back country camp on the ranch working with her horse when she and the horse fell crushing Lori beneath the 1000 pound creature.
The physician who worked on Lori after the horse accident did not understand why Lori was still alive. Lori exclaims, "Well, I better figure it out because ten years ago, almost to the day, I had a rafting accident. I had better get on with my mission here to help people. I need to figure out my path before something takes me out for good."
The second near death experience began Lori's soul quest. She knew she could not ignore the mission.
After the rafting accident in the Grand Canyon, Lori shed her suicidal ideologies. Unfortunately, her very good friend did not. When Lori lost her friend to suicide, she wondered why she was able to get out of that track of self loathing and self doubt, and darkness, and her friend was not. Lori knew she was saved because she had experienced that moment with the Devine suddenly realizing she wanted to live.
But, there is not way to actually share these experiences. There is no course you can provide that will recreate a near death experience. This was the missing link - finding a way to provide a transformational experience that truly provides a breakthrough.
Realizing the power of her own experiences and their ability to lift her out of her darkness and fear, Lori sought a way to bring a breakthrough experience to others in this world. Her first objective was to become a Certified Life Coach, and through that experience, she still saw the inhibitions in people caught in their old belief systems. It wasn't until her introduction to firewalking, that she found the epitome of a breakthrough experience that could be shared.
"I gave a talk at a church and was approached by a guy who thought my Life Coach program would work well with his firewalking program. He told me he was a firewalk instructor." - Lori
Lori was beyond intrigued by the concept and arranged to have a firewalk event at her Retreat Center in Tennessee. She approached the experience with doubt, pulling from embedded belief systems that walking on fire is impossible, fire is hot, and fire will burn you. But, in the process of the event, she found herself naturally pulled in to the mystery of the fire that reminded her of the mystery of all life. She found herself drawn to the fire and the idea of overcoming the old beliefs. After walking across the 1000+ degree coals feeling no heat, or pain, she understood - she had found it. THIS was her Grand Canyon experience.
The Fire is a metaphor for everything that scares you. Walking across fire forces you to face fear, old belief systems, and self doubt.
When you are faced with a life threatening situation your immediate reaction is survival. You ask yourself, "How do I survive this?" Knowing, you would do whatever it takes. Those who have had training, are able to access the part of their brain where reactions have become instinct allowing your mind and body to react in methodological ways. Learning how to find your inner warrior is key. Training yourself to react methodologically is crucial to survival. How do you manage fear automatically as second nature? How do you train yourself to kick into confidence and power?
Train to believe:
"I got this."
"I know how to do this."
"I am trained for this."
Lori has designed her programs to help people learn how to thrive within fear, and learn what to do when fear comes up. There are many tools in the Breakthrough Coaching Toolbox, and as a Master Firewalk Instructor, Lori Hudspeth's Firewalk experience is a life altering event that helps train the belief, helps you to find your inner warrior, kick yourself into confidence, and power.
Your validation does not come from other people. It comes from within you and the understanding that your presence in this world matters.
"When you become one with the fire, the fire cannot burn itself." - Lori
Becoming a firewalker with Lori Hudspeth allows for the upmost experience to find yourself and your connectedness to the Divine. When you step on the fire and become one with the fire and science says, "fire burns," knowing the coals you face exceed 1200 degrees, but yet, you can walk on those coals without burning yourself, there is something there - there is a connectedness to the Divine and your higher self. When you realize the power is within you, it shifts everything.
The power is within you. You are the one stepping into the fire. You make the decision, you understand that whatever your metaphor is for this fire, this is your chance to overcome it.
